Turns out I wasn't built for courtrooms and case law. It took me a scenic route to figure that out: Sicily, then Ireland, then law school in The Hague, then a hard left into illustration that finally felt like coming home.
Every stop left something behind. Sicily gave me my love of color. Law gave me structure and the patience to hold a hundred details without dropping one. Illustration gave me the eye.
Now all of it lives here at NorthHaven, pointed squarely at making creative women a website they're finally proud to send.
I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A LAWYER
A few certified facts
- Sicilian by birth, Dutch by postcode, somewhere between sunshine and stroopwafels.
- Currently rewatching The Bear and pretending my deadlines are that intense.
- Give me Mickey-shaped beignets and a day at Disneyland and I'm completely sorted.
- My design assistant is a two-year-old cocker spaniel. He mostly supervises.
